Louis XIII
Louis XIII's mother was a member of the Medici family and acted as regent during Louis's minority. Louis took power over France by exiling his mother and executing all her Italian followers. Louis XVI
He secretly sent supplies, ammunition and guns from 1776, to America, and signed a formal Treaty of Alliance in early 1778, and go to war with Britain.Louis was officially arrested on 13 August 1792, and sent to a prison. On 21 September, the National Assembly declared France to be a Republic and abolished the Monarchy. Louis was stripped of all of his titles and honors.
