Storming of the Bastille
While the Bourgeoisie were at the tennis courts the Artisans and Peasants went to storm the Bastille. They raided the Bastille for munitions, and as a distraction for the king. -

The Directory was the government that took over after the National Convention. Later the Directory was overthrown by Napoleon. -

Napoleon conducts coup d'etat against directory govt.-establishes Consulate gout.
Napoleon took over france and created the Consulate govt. He was the one to stop the revolution.
