Meeting of the Estates General
What was happening was that there was a finacial crisis and they have summoned King Louis to solve it. Some important people are Fénelon, King Louis XVI, and Robespierre. The reason this is important is because how because of this the 3rd Estate made the Declaration of the Rights of Men and had them join together. -
The Storming of the Bastille
What happened in this event is the 3rd Estate attacked the Bastille for gunpowder. The people of the 3rd Estate. It is because ithe 3rd Estate finally rebeled against the 1st and 2nd Estate. -
The March on Versailles
What happened in this event is the women of the 3rd Estate attacked Versailles because they raised the price of bread. The women of the 3rd Estate. It is because the women captured the king and queen and their children to Paris where they were their prisoner. -
The National Assembly Declared war on Austria
The National Assembly declared war on Austria. Some important of the queen, Robespierre, and Danton. I believe it was important because even though Austria and France were at peace since 1780 the French deciding to attack. -
The September Massacres
What happened was people in Austria raided Frances and in the Bastile they killed the inmates and priests. The people in Paris, the inmates, and the armies of Austria. This was after France attacked Austria and probably was trying to tell France that they were not afraid to fight back. -
King Louis XVI being beheaded
King Louis XVI was being beheaded because of the people's vote. Some important people are King Louis XVI and Maximilien Robespierre and Marat. The reason why this event is important is because when he was beheaded it fired the people up and it stoped some of the laws that the people thought were unfair. -
The Reign of Terror
It's time period was from Setember 5, 1793 to July 28, 1794. What happened was Robespierre want to make the other countries around them fear them and so they called it the Reign of Terror. Some important people were Robespierre, Marat, Charolette Corday, and Danton. This was the time that people feared the most because of all the executions and they could be next to be executed.
