    The country is in a great financial problem from war debts and fancy spending. King Louis XVI called the Estates- general to attend the meeting in Versailles to approve a tax plan. In there, the representatives of all esates meet again after more than 160 years.

    King Louis XVI fled the palace with no announcement, the Swiss Guard fire in the mob. The anger arise and causes the angry mob execute veryone who is associate with King Louis XVI in the Palace. Later on, they imprison King Louis XVI and his family.

    Napoleon sucessfully lead the military of French when it is falling apart. It makes him the first consulate and leads to his dictatorship effectively.

    Having won military prestige with his victorious campaigns in Europe. He was proclaimed Emperor, and a coronation ceremony was held on December in May 1804.
