This was the day Louis Auguste became the King Louis XVI of France. After the death of his grandfather Louis XV he took his place. He was the last Bourbon king of France. I think that this important because he will be the last king of France. -
Storming of the Bastille
The Storming of the Bastille was a revolutionary attack on the French fortress. The Bastille was used to protect Paris during the Hundred Years War. However, the kings who used it to suppress political prisoners turned it into a symbol of monarchical oppression, which angered many French peasants. This place was where many firearms were located. I personally think that this place is very important because this event was the first time violence came in during the revolution. -
Tennis Court Oath
The Tennis Court Oath was a vow member of the Third Estate took during the National Assembly, which said: "not to separate and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established". This event is important because this was challenging the King's absolute power during the time. -
Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen
Due to the increasing heat from the revolution, the King decided to declare the rights of Man and citizens. The human civil rights document Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen can be seen as one of the most important documents of the French Revolution. It preserved the rights for all the three estates -
Execution of Louis XVI
King Louis XVI was executed by the guillotine. He was executed at Place de la Revolution in Paris. He was found guilty of treason and condemned to death. This meant the end of the absolute power of King in Paris, France. -
Marie Antoinette executed
Marie was executed months after her husband, She was killed by guillotine. She was being accused of treason, theft, and sexual abuse against her son. This event marked the end of monarchs of France since both King and Queen of France have died. -

Robespierre had been executed by the revolutionary leaders because of his harsh ruling and terror. They turned on him, arrested him, and took him to the guillotine. This absolutely marked the end or terror and harsh ruling. -
Jacobins vs Girondins
They fought between many different political and social issues. Both of the groups were fought together but ultimately Jacobins rose to power and Louis XVI was executed for treason. This event showed the importance of the individuals. -

The act of overthrowing the existing government with undemocratic means through the sudden, violent and illegal seizure of power by the government. This coup took over Napoleon Bonaparte, transforming France and Europe, and rebalancing the forces under Napoleon. -
Concordat of 1801
Agreement between Pope Pius VII and Napoleon. It healed the religious divisions in France by giving French Catholics the free practice of their religion and Napoleonic political power. It solidified the Roman Catholic Church and restored antiquity.
