Thousands of Parisians marched twelve miles to Versailles due to them being desperately hungry and wanted to petition the king and his government to lessen bread shortages. They also wanted the king to leave Versailles and relocate to Paris. Some had worse intentions. -

The Legislative Assembly declared war on Austria because they were worried that they would attempt to re-instate King Louis XVI on the throne. Also, the Revolutionaries wanted the country to be united. -

Napoleon invaded Russia because they were not following the continental system and went in with a large number of men and came back with a lot less due to the cold harsh winters they had in Russia. -
Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo
Napoleons army was defeated at Waterloo by British and Prussian forces. He was also sent to a secluded island, St. Helena, to live there alone but then died due to a stomach ulcer.
