King Louis XVI calls all of the Estates General together for the first time in a long time. the clergy, the noblemen, and the rest of France together, to discuss about the citizens disagreement on the "laws".
this is one of the most important event, because it's literally the beginning of the French revolution.

Tennis Court

After being removed from the Estates General, the Third Estate decides then to form an assembly called the National Assembly. They then swear to the Tennis Court saying that they will not leave until they get their things done, and until the revolution is over.
this is an important event because it's the beginning of the revolution, and it will lead to an important even that im going to explain in the next even.

Storming of the bastille

This is when the citizens took the bastille where political prisonners were, this is when the revolution really started to become violent.
this was one of the major even during the french revolution, and the French still celebrates it now a day.

Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen

after taking the bastille the citizen got this declaration set by the national constitution assembly, which is changing the rights for the citizens, in their favor.
this is a major event in the revolution because the citizens are starting to get what they wanted

women's march on versaille

this is an important even in the revolution history still at the beginning, after the first women's march on October 5th the women decides then tp invade the kinds palace in Versaille, and ask the king to come with them to Paris. following to this the National assembly decides to relocate o Paris.

Civil Constitution of the Clergy

The Civil Constitution is published, which now allows the French government to have control on the Church. Due to badly needed money, the government decides to sell the churches property to get money.
this is really important to know, because it shows that the French goverment was really poor.

Louis XVI

Louis XVI got suspended from his duties until a new constitution would be created, the king and his family tries to fly to Varennes but he is then recognized and the commissioners get him back to Paris for his judgment.
it is a very important event, the king is going to be judged for his crime, and a new king is going to take the power.

Execution of the king

The king has been put on trial, and failed, the assembly decides that he should get executed, on the 21st of January the king gets executed by the guillotine.
this was an important event, because it's the death of the king, which should help things to get better.

a lot of people are sentenced to death by execution caused by the conflict between two political parties , and the Girondins. The leader of the Jacobins, Maximilien arrives as a new leader of the
Revolution.
this is an important event because it's a turning point in the revolution, because it became Terror

Execution of Robespierre

Maximilien Robespierre,the new leader of the revolution, is executed and the power of the revolution falls with him. The Girondins gain more power as a result.
