why is it important? In 1789, The king Louis XVI called a meeting the hasnt been called in 175 years because they were having financial problems and the reason of the meeting was how can they make more money and increase their finances.
What caused their finances to go down?
They fought 7 years war which they ended up losing and that caused them to have finance problem. The first state and second state like to party a lot and waste the money on pretty dresses to impress their wives. -
national assembly is formed
the national assembly was formed in the year of 1789 in june 17th. It was a revolution hosted by the 3rd estate representatives. The reason they called this assembly the national assembly is because they represented 96% of the population. why was this assembly formed?. the 3rd estate people got tired of being ruled by the king and being be treated different from the 1st and 2nd estate. And all they wanted is equal rights and to be treated like everybody else. -

The tennis court Oath is where they gathered to talk about their equal rights and how they get treated differently. this took place in 1789 on jun 20th and they wanted to vote one by one instead of every estate getting on vote they wanted to able everyone to vote and equal rights for everyone so they gathered there to stand up for their selves so they can get more bread and equal rights -
The Storming of the Bastille
the storm of the Bastille was a prison located in Paris France. the third estate people were locking ammo for their weapons so they broke in the prison and they tired to get what they wanted with no violent and the things didn't so they killed the governor that was ruling and they took what they wanted -
Constitutional Monarchy Formed
the conditional is formed by king Louis XVI granted him a reduced civil list, allowed him to select and appoint ministers and gave him suspensive veto power and it allowed him to do whatever he wanted and that was bad for the poor people and it gave a power to the king to do whatever he wanted to party hard and buy nice dresses for his wife -
Mob Overthrows the Constitutional Monarchy, New National Convention
the convention was a parliament of the french revolution.The Convention came about when the Legislative Assembly decreed the provisional suspension of King Louis XVI and the convocation of a National Convention to draw up a new constitution with no monarchy. The other major innovation was to decree that deputies to that Convention should be elected by all Frenchmen twenty-five years old or more, domiciled for a year and living by the product of their labor. -
Reign of Terror Begins
The Reign of Terror begins when Robespierre declares Terror "the order of the day." This marks the beginning of almost two years of repressing perceived enemies of the Revolution. It will claim an estimated 18,500-40,000 lives before its end in July 1794. -
King Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette Beheaded
Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were executed for treason. Louis had failed to address France's financial problems, instigating the French Revolution that eventually descended upon him. He made matters worse by often escaping to more pleasurable activities like hunting and locksmithing. -
Reign of Terror Ends
he Reign of Terror began on September 5, 1793 with a declaration by Robespierre that Terror would be "the order of the day." It ended on July 27, 1794 when Robespierre was removed from power and executed.
