    why is it important? In 1789, The king Louis XVI called a meeting the hasnt been called in 175 years because they were having financial problems and the reason of the meeting was how can they make more money and increase their finances.
    What caused their finances to go down?
    They fought 7 years war which they ended up losing and that caused them to have finance problem. The first state and second state like to party a lot and waste the money on pretty dresses to impress their wives.

    the national assembly was formed in the year of 1789 in june 17th. It was a revolution hosted by the 3rd estate representatives. The reason they called this assembly the national assembly is because they represented 96% of the population. why was this assembly formed?. the 3rd estate people got tired of being ruled by the king and being be treated different from the 1st and 2nd estate. And all they wanted is equal rights and to be treated like everybody else.

    the convention was a parliament of the french revolution.The Convention came about when the Legislative Assembly decreed the provisional suspension of King Louis XVI and the convocation of a National Convention to draw up a new constitution with no monarchy. The other major innovation was to decree that deputies to that Convention should be elected by all Frenchmen twenty-five years old or more, domiciled for a year and living by the product of their labor.
