Tennis Court Oath
The National Assembly met in the tennis court of Versailles as their room that they used to meet in was locked by soldiers in a try from Louis XVI to stop their move. Women March to Versailles
Thousands of Women marched to Versalles and demanded bread.They were armed with pikes, sticks ,and scythes. Champ de Mars Massacre
The Jacobins, a radical group of revolutionaries started to address the idea of a republic and the necessity to end the monarchy. End of Monarchy
Louis XVI along with his family placed under arrest. There were stories of counter revolutionaries who plotted with Austria and Prussia and this caused the people to enter the prison and kill half of the prisoners they found. Reign of Terror
This reign lasted from 1793 to 1794 when France witnessed a time of executing people for doing very little things where they were sent to the guillotine. M.Robespierre, a French lawyer and an influential figure during the French Revolution who started the conviction , was killed by the guillotine. This event is important as it put France under an internal stress that was added up to the exterior one.

Napoleon Takes Over
Napoleon, a strong army soldier, crushes rebels that oppose the National Convention, overthrows the directory , and becomes the first counsel of France.He then crowns himself the Emperor of France, thus, signaled the end of the revolution.
