    Estates General Called
    This was a meeting of all three estates to try to fix the economy, The meeting ended up going badly because the third estate wasn't getting anything and nothing was changing. The third estate then broke free from the monarchy and formed the nation assembly. This started the whole revolution and allowed the third estate to finally go against the monarchy and fight to be equal.
  • National Assembly Formed

    National Assembly Formed
    The national assembly was made by the people of the third estate and some people of the other two estates. The goal of the group was to make change in the monarchy so the third estate could live with everyone else and be equal. The national assembly was extremely important because they changed how the monarchy worked and continued to fight for equality.

    The tennis court oath happened because the people leading the revolution were locked out of their old building and found a tennis court, They decided to make an oath to continue meeting there until things changed. The importance of this was that they stayed persistent and kept going till they fixed things. This lead to changes in how the monarchy worked.

    They decided to storm the Bastille which was a prison in search for weapons and gunpowder. They stormed the Bastille allowing all the prisoners to escape while they gathered weapons and gunpowder to fight for the fair rights. This event led to all the next events and allowed the national assembly to be stronger with the weapons they had, This changed how the fight for rights was going completely giving more power to the assembly.

    Constitutional Monarchy Formed
    They formed a constitutional monarchy by forcing people to have more power rather than the king/queen. This was important because it finally allowed all men to be equal and have power.

    A mob overthrew the monarchy because the king still had more power than they wanted. They did this to get more power. This resulting in them getting what they wanted and getting the power they needed to make decisions.

    King Louis was beheaded for treason and was accused of stealing other kingdoms. They executed him to end the revolution and reclaim the power. This was important because they finally ended the revolution and they ended them monarchy.

    Reign Of Terror Begins
    During this there were many public executions because people were suspected to not like the new political system. If anyone accused you for not liking it or you were suspected to not like it you would be executed. This was mostly done by the Jacobins. This caused around 17000 deaths from public execution and many people were scared.

    Reign Of Terror Ends
    The Reign Of Terror ended because Robespierre was executed by other Jacobins. They thought what he was doing was excessive and the support of the public safety committee decreased. This ending of this event caused france to have the current political system they have today and allowed the people to have power.
