The Reign of Terror went on for nearly a year. This led to the execution of thousands. It also ended with the death of Robespierre. -

The Jacobins were a major contribution of the Reign of Terror. They executed many. After the death of Robespierre, the Jacobins disbanded. -
The Directory
The Directory was formed after the Reign of Terror ended. A new constitution was put in place. The Directory promoted middle class interests and caused financial and food shortages. This also led to the rise of Napoleon. -
Napoleon the Military General
Napoleon as a military general and commander led France to many victories. This caused him to gain fame and power. He was loved by many if not all. -
Napoleon the Emperor
After Napoleon gained much fame and love, he crowned himself the emperor of France. Not much longer, Napoleon would lose many wars and lose power and be exiled multiple times. -
Legacies of the French Revolution
After Napoleon died, France lost power. However, they left behind an enormous legacy. Absolutism ended and peasants were allowed to own land. Also, France lived by enlightenment ideas.
