    The third estate stormed bastille for many reasons. They needed gun powder for their weapons and it was in Bastille. Bastille represented the absolute power and corruption of the monarchy, so by tearing it down they were tearing it down, they symbolically tore down the government.

    The reign of terror was 1793-1794. It was a time in france when the committee of public safety beheaded anyone they thought was against the revolution. 40,000 were killed in total.

    Napoleon crowned himself emperor, taking the role of a dictator. This was significant because the church used to crown people, but napoleon crowned himself showing he was more powerful.
