to protect them selves from the coming king's army the people of the revolution raid the bastile for weponds and kill the guards and mount thier heads on stakes. -
the storming of versailles
all large group of armed women, angered by the high price of bread stormed the palace of versailles killing some of its guards stealing flour and traping the king and queen in the bedroom. the mob forced the royals to move to paris to support its people and listen to their demands. -

king louis the 14th tries to ecsape paris as a peasant but is caught in a town close to the border of france and is sent back to paris -

the king is taken to the guillotine to be beheaded for being a tratoir to france trying to escape -
reign of terror
robspierre's rule of france is called the reign of terror. anyone suspected of betrail, even complaining of the price of bread were beheaded. -
robespierre's death
robespierre was starting to become insaine with power, killing anyone susspected of treason. he was shot by one of his colleges and badly wounded but still counsious. robespierre was sent to the guiilotine and was beheaded for his actions. this was the last use of the guillotine in the french revolution.
