Napoleon started making more rules. He created many schools and universities for education, for preparation of military, politics and economics. Although, this was only for men. -

Napoleon wanted to take over all of Europe. This was called the Napoleonic Wars. Napoleon was successful. War after war he was gaining territory and becoming stronger with alliances.

Battle of Borodino
Napoleon made a mistake. In the battle of Borodino (invasion of Russia). 600,000 man army marched on Moscow, but Russia knew Napoleon's techniques. Russians retreated East of Moscow Burnt villages, destroyed everything so, Napoleon's army had nothing to live on when the tried to attack.
This was a long journey, so many men died due to weather conditions. Napoleon forced to retreat back to France mid winter without supplies

Great Britian
A new alliance was created led by the Great Britain, they defeated Napoleon and banished him of the Isle of Elba.
