    The Tennis Court Oath happened as a result of the growing dicontent in the 3rd estate. It was proposed by a man named Mournir to prevent a dangerous revolt. This oath was sighned by 577 members and stated that the power does not reside in the king, but in the people.

    A huge, blood thirsty crowd marched to the Bastille in pursuit of gun powder and prisoners captured by King Louis XVI. The crowd demanded that the gates were open and when they were they went on a rampage.They captured and killed many soldiers and paraded through the streets with their captives on their way to get the king.

    The end of Feudalism was announced by the French. This Decree informed its citizens that the feudal system would be abolished and that every man would have equal rights. This was caused by the revolts of the peasants.

    On this day King Louis XVI was beheaded by the guillotine. He was sentenced because he had'nt adheared to the new laws in France. This became a celebration and bloodthirsty people got every souviner they could get.

    After King Louis XVIs death, many of his followers revolted against the radicals. They sentenced more than 40000 people to death by the guillitine. This period of time ended around July 1794.

    Robespierre was the head of the Committee for Public Safety and held absolute power over France. He made several changes to their culture. But as the revolutionaries outlook on absolute power hastened Robespierre was beheaded like many of the comittee members.
