A group of men were on stike and came across 8 red coats and stood their ground. The red coats had not gotten the oreder to fire so instead one used the end of his rifle to strike a man across the face and then the red coats recieved order to fire. -

Battle of Lexington and Concord
700 soldiers march into Lexington to take all the stolen weapons. They all ended up in the feild and they colonists were not going to fire until the red coats did. To this day no one knows who fired frist. But many died and a little over 10 were injured. -
