The British attacked the French in Quebec and they won. This helped the British win the whole war.

The British take Canada
After the British took Montreal, the French had to leave and all of Canada belonged to the British. -
The Treaty of Paris
The British won the war and they created the Treaty of Paris. It said that everything east to the Mississippi River belonged to the British. The French had to give everything to the west of the Mississippi River to the Spanish.
