    The leader did not know that his solders wounded some and took some to be slaves he was disappointed when he found out. They did end up taking the fort. His solders killed some of the wounded also.

    Ft. William Henry was built on the southern side of Lake George during the French and Indian War.The British did win the war in 1755 but the French knew they could win next time. They did call it the Battle Of Lake George because it was on Lake George.

    The British took a large amount of time to take the fort it took them until November 25th to successfully take it. 6000 men were sent towards the fort . 104 were killed,220 were wounded , 18 were captured.
