    It started in 1754 as war between France and their Native American Allies and Britain over Ohio Valley. The fighting continued and eventually Spain joined France, and the war continued in Europe and Asia.

    The Proclamation of 1763
    During The Proclamation of 1763 The Sugar and Stamp Act were repealed in 1766 because both English Colonists and Merchant were angry because one side (English Colonists) had to pay taxes on every day items such as sugar, paper, newspapers, almanacs, pamphlets, and playing cards. The other side (the merchants) had to deal with the colonists who boycotted their businesses by not buying their products, so both sides were infuriated which then the Boston Massacre happened.

    The Second Continental Congress was called to meet in Philadelphia the gathering took place May 10, 1775. They met to decide what they were going to do about what happened in Lexington and Concord. The only one who didn't send representatives was Georgia.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Another famous quote " Don't fie until you see the whites of their eyes" came from the Battle of Bunker Hill. Which actually took place on Breeds Hill, but was named The Battle of Bunker Hill on accident. It also showed Britain we weren't going to let hem push us around.

    John Hancock and Samuel Adams two Sons of Liberty decided to meet, and a man named General Thomas Gage got word that they were meeting there, and 700 British soldiers were sent to arrest the two. Paul Revere heard this and decided that he would try and help with the minutemen it would be easier, and so the famous saying came, " The shot heard round the world." Samuel and John did escape thanks to Revere and the Minutemen. 8 Minutemen died in the battle, and Ammunition was in Concord.
