On May 9th 1756, the British declared war on the French. Meanwhile in France, the French declared war on the British. The Seven Year's War and The French and Indian War had begun. -

On October 21, in 1758, British make peace with the Delaware Indians, the Iroquois and the Shawnee Indians. These groups of Indians will help the British in the French and Indian War. These groups also would trade goods with British.
