Braddock's Defeat
General Braddock and George Washington marched with an army of 2100 men to the French fort, Fort Duquesne. They were surprised by less than 900 French and Indian troops. Braddock would not listen to Washington's suggestion that they hide behind the trees like the French and Indians did. By the end of the battle, almost 1,000 men were killed or wounded. Braddock died from his wounds.

Both sides increased their troops strength. And they had small raids against each other. The French eventually took over the fort on August 9 and the British retreated. -
The Battle of Quebec
William Pitt was Britain's new secretary of state. The British started to attach Quebec in the beginning of summer. Wolfe had 4,000 ready to attach at night. Wolfe was killed. And Montcalm the French commander died the next day from his wounds. The British won.

Proclamation of 1763
It didn't allow colonist to settle on the west of the Appalachians. The colonist were angry. And the British was angry at them cause the colonist didn't wanna pay for there taxes.
