    George Washington was 22 years old when he began construction on Fort Necessity. It was called Fort Necessity because it was a fort that protected their supplies in the storehouse. The Battle of Fort Necessity was fought between France and England.

    Initially at the battle of Fort Duquesne the French defeated the British. Later the British came and burned down the fort, and defeated the French very quickly. The British named the Fort Pitt after the rebuilt it and Pittsburgh later became it's name.

    On July 8, 1758 the French troops of Montcalm were attacked by the British. The resulting battle was so crazy that it was the largest of the French and Indian War and was the bloodiest up until the Civil War. Eventually the British captured Fort Ticonderoga in 1759.

    The British defeated the French troops in the City of Quebec on September 13, 1759. During this battle Major General James Wolfe led the British. During this war only 58 of the British were killed, but around 200 of the French were killed. Also 596 British were wounded and 1,200 French were wounded. There is a big number difference there. By seeing those facts you can probably have an idea that the British won.

    The Battle of Quiberon Bay was fought in Quiberon Bay, near St. Nazaire The two Navy's that fought were the French and Royal Navy. The outcome of the battle was British victory.

    Between the British and Cherokee Indians losses were happening on both ends. Both sides agreed to sign a peace treaty in 1761. As a symbol of good faith, A junior officer that was named Henry Timberlake agreed to go with the Cherokee's.

    The Treaty of Paris was the treaty that ended the French and Indian War. Something that went along with the treaty is that Britain got almost all of what is modern day the United States of America, east of the Mississippi though. Also all of Canada was another thing Britain won.
