Douglass Learns to Read
He was taught by His slave owner Mrs.Auld, although shortly after learning how to read Mr. Auld no longer allowed Mrs.Auld to teach Frederick. -
Start of Sunday School
Douglas began Teaching Slaves you and old how to read. This was huge for Frederick explaining with being able to read come being able to be free. -
Returns to an Auld
Comes back to work for his former master Hugh Auld Brother, Mr.Thomas Auld. He begins work in St. Michaels, Maryland. -

Caught Trying to escape
Had a plan with fellow slaves to escape from slavery, although they were caught just before they escaped. Punishment was being dragged behind horses for 15 miles. Then they were thrown in jail. -
