    The Academy
    A Fourteen year-old Franco tries to follow his family's past as naval men. Unfortunatley reduced admissions forces him to enroll in an Infantry Academy located in Toledo, Spain. His grave desire to be a military man shaping the course of his life.
  • Graduation Day

    Three years later Franco graduated. He only managed to pass with average marks, and all throughout his years he was the target of vicious bullying. In spite of this, his faith in the military remained unwavering.
  • Major Franco

    By 1920 Francisco Franco had achieved the rank of Major in the Spanish Foreign Legion, and he was ultimatley made it's second in command by the unit's leader, Colonel Millan Astray. The Unit quickly gains a brutal and ruthless reputation. The mutilation of prisoners and vicious execution become typical.
  • The Rising Star

    Three years after joining Colonel Astray, Franco replaces him as the Leader of the Spanish Foreign Legion. During this period, Franco's tactical genius is well known. During his wedding in October, he is so famous that the King, Alfonso XIII sends a representative to the event.
  • The End of the Monarchy

    Tired of the failings of the Monarchy, the populace of Spain demanded change. Sensing that his time was at an end, Alfonso opened up a Democratic election, an event that was missing in spain for over 60 years. Franco, while ultimatley a Monarchist personally, was willing to tolerate the results as long as it proved beneficial for Spain. The main exception being an absolute hatred for communism, with Franco going so far to say that "Wherever [he] was, communism was not"
  • Sparks of War

    Sparks of War
    Upset over the growing failures of the new government, the people once again revolted. While the revolt in Navarre was a failure, it served to start sparks across the nation. Frustration at the lack of sucsess would ultimatley end up leading most of the Spanish Military to go against the government. The most notable members include Emilio Mola and one Francisco Franco. The later would become not only the commander of the entire Nationalist army, but also the Chief of State.
  • Victory

    Victory
    Having emulated the tactics of other dictators, such as Mussolini and Hitler, as well as using his own tactical genius, Franco managed to push back and surround their opposition in Madrid. Franco had secured all of Spain when the surrender came through. Now having complete control of Spain, Franco would let not a single thing jeopardize his rule. This included being 'officialy' neutral in the conflict now known as World War II. His Iron grip of the country would never falter until his death.
