France and Britain were two of the strongest powers in Europe. They competed for wealth, and empire in diffrent part of the world. The rivarly caused bitter feelings for Britain and Frence colonist in North Amrica. -

The confedrcy intially included five nations. Mohaw, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondage, and Onedia. Other groups of the native americans later joined. -
