On the front page, the headline reads, “Dirty Dining at Pure Soul.” As you continue to read, it details the horrible experience and suffering of three customers who were all hospitalized after visiting your business. As your own stomach begins to turn from nerves and uncertainty, you know you must act quickly to save any chance of remaining a reputable business. -
Coupons
The coupon will be sent out in the mail to our target market so that we can reach them in their homes cheaply. The mail will include a coupon for a free pastry with the purchase of a coffee and our logo along with the dates and details of our other promotions. This will increase the image of our restaurant by increasing awareness of the restaurant and cause more customers to come into the store. -
Coupon Plan
The “coupon plan” for Pure Soul will be a special coffee mug that customers can buy for a limited time where they will be able to get all of the coffee or drinks that they buy in the mug for 30% off going forward. I selected this promotional strategy to get more customers to go to Pure Soul to keep coming back so that they can get their coffee for 30% off. Traffic Builder
The first 60 customers to our restaurant will get the free mug offered above and the next 40 will get a free coffee. I selected this promotional strategy because it will get more customers into the restaurant. This promotional strategy will increase the image of the restaurant because as more consumers enter the restaurant, they will see what we have to offer and want to come back. -
Incentives
Everyone who buys a coffee for a limited time gets their name put into a sweepstakes for $2000 cash and $1000 to their favorite charity in their name. This promotional strategy will increase the image of the restaurant because we are donating to a charity and giving money to our customers. -
Product Samples
A stand with products and product samples will be set up on the patio outside of the restaurant because of the large number of consumers that walk past the store. This will include many small pastries and some of the types of our coffee. Full size items will be sold at the stand as well for those in a rush, but who liked our product. This will increase the image of our restaurant because all of the people that try our samples and like them will come back and purchase later and into the future. -
