North Korea and South Korea were divided by World War II. North Korea, Communist, invaded South Korea, a non-Communist country. United States go to South Korea to help. In 1053 the war ended, going back as it was before.

John F. Kennedy was going through Dallas, Texas in a convertible. Lee Harvey fired three shots which hit Kennedy in the head. 30 minutes later he was pronounced dead in Dallas. He died at age 46.

Civil Rights Act
That ended segregation and employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, or national origin. It was controversial in the U.S as soon as it was proposed by Kennedy in 1963. Lyndon B. Johnson signed the bill July 2, 1964 because Kennedy passed away.

Roe v. Wade Supreme Court
Women were denied access to abortion. The decision was woman have the right to privacy by 14th amendment. They only have an abortion before 12 weeks.

Vietnam War Ends
President Ford rules out the U.S military from going further involvement in Vietnam. North and South unified as Socialist Republic of Vietnam under hardline communist rule. 58,00 Americans died at the end of the war. -

More toys were made even video games! They started creating video games in arcades, Space invaders and Pac Man. Also making more popular toy figures, Star wars, Pound Puppies, My little pony, and Mr. and Mr.'s Potato Head. -
Sandra O'Connor

Cold war Ends
Mikhail Gorbachev became leader of the soviet union. Which the Berlin Wall comes down, borders opened, and free elections ousted communism. The Iron curtain was lifted and the cold war ended. -

Before becoming president, Clinton was the Arkansas governor from 1983 to 1992. Clinton ran against George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot in the 1992. Bill Clinton, 42nd U.S president republican in 1993.
