Vietnam war
For twenty-five long years the America army had been trying to help the people f south Vietnam just like we did in South Korean. The North side of Vietnam had become a Communist country well South Vietnam was democracy. Unfortunately some people in South Vietnam had wanted the Americans out and started teaming up with the north. By 1975 the war had become so horrible and the public out cry for the murder to stop had forced the governments hand to bring the troops home. -

Korean War
The war between North and South Korean. North Korean was under Communist control and tried to get South Korean under Communist control. China and the Soviet union were supplying North Korean with weapons to fight, well the United Nations helped south Korean by sending troops. At the end both parts ended up back at the 38th parallel and the war ended

Brown vs BOE
Oliver L. Brown was a African American father who wanted his young daughter to have the best education in Topeka, Kansans. So he went against the Board of Education in order to desegregate schools. On May 17 1954 the Plessy v. Ferguson case was overturned since separate but equal was not OK. Then the Brown vs BOE was put in place to desegregate schools. -
Emmett Till murder
In 1955 a young African American boy from Chicago was murder. Well visiting his grandfather in Mississippi he was accused of whistling at a white women. The women's husband and brother went to Emmett's grandfathers house three days later late at night then took him from the house. They took him to an tool shed and beat him half to death then shoot him in the head, and then prosecuted to dump his body in the river. -
Little Rock Nine
In Little Rock Arkansas the Little Rock Central High school was desegregated for the first time ever under the Brown vs. BOE act. The brave nine teens to be the ones to desegregate the school was Ernest Green, Elizabeth Eckford, Jefferson Thomas, Terrence Roberts, Carlotta Walls LaNier, Minnijean Brown, Gloria Ray Karlmark, Thelma Mothershed-Wair, and Melba Pattillo Beals. Later that year there was an indecent were Minnijean poured chili on a group of boys harassing her and was expelled. -
MLK Jr march on Washington
During the march on Washington for better jobs and freedom MLK was the last person to speak. Well giving his speech a women who was seated on the stage yelled out for him to talk about his dream. So he did just that for a long 16 mintues he spoke about his now famous "I have a dream" speech that we all know today.

John F. Kennedy Assassination
John F. Kennedy was the 35th president of U.S.A. Well in Dallas, Texas on his political trip his party was riding down main street in an open top Cadillac. From a top window of a book factor Lee Harvey Oswald shoot President Kennedy. Oswald then fled to a theater and on the way killed a cop. When he was found but on his way to the police state he was killed. -
MLK Jr. Assassinated
Well in a hotel in Memphis Tennessee. He was on the balcony of his hotel room when a man shoot him in the head from a building cross the street from his hotel. James Earl Ray was the man who shot MLK and ray was later arrested. -
Moon Landing
On July 20 three brave men made the journey to not only space but the moon on the Apollo 11. The three brave men were Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Upon landing Armstrong said the now famous lines "one small steep for man, one giant leap for mankind". As this day went down in history it also pushed the America head in the space race.

Kent State Incident
During a protest at Kent State University in Ohio were students had been creating mayhem. The 900 national Guardsmen was sent in to bring peace. The Guardsmen had been unable to control them and started to shoot fire into the crowed. This ending up killing 4 students and wounding 50 more people.
