Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols placed a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Fedral Building in Oklamhoma City. The bomb was detonated runing the struture and damaing hundreds of adjacent buildings. This attack killed 168 people and injured 680. -

Kyle Shaw set off a homemade bomb in a Starbucks in Manhattan. Hurting no one but damaging a bench. -
Boston Marathon Bombing
Two boms were set off near the end of the Boston Marathon. The bombs sent shrapnel into the crowd and into the paths of runners during the marathon. The bombs killed three and injured more then 170 people.
