Books were a big part of life for a long time because that was the only way you could here about stories from the other side of the world. It showed you if you were living in a democracy in it allowed you to learn about communism and that stuff. It was always available to the rich people and the ones that could read but after this was made it made books more accesable.

This allowed you to learn about other cultures and it allowed you to see around the world without having to go to the certain place.It also allowed for commercials to be broadcasted and that way you could buy things from around the world at the push of a button. This is one of the most vital parts in globalization.
