Hot air balloons work thanks to the difference in density of the air inside the balloon with respect to the outside air. Inside the balloon there is usually helium or hot air, which is less dense than the outside air.

They float in the air just like a ball does in a swimming pool, by Archimedes' principle. Air is the fluid that the airship dislodges and the weight of that air is greater than that of the airship itself , so it experiences a vertical thrust, upwards and equal to the weight of the displaced fluid. -

The tow plane carries the glider to the desired location and height, where the glider pilot unhooks the tow rope. A weaker element is often added to the rope to ensure that sudden loads do not damage the towing aircraft. -

Jet engines suck air at the front and eject it at the back at a very high speed and as the air goes backwards, the engine and the aircraft are thrust forwards. -
Supersonic airliner (Major charles)
It was invented in Moscu.
At supersonic speeds the intake has to make sure that the air slows down without excessive pressure loss. It has to use the correct type of shock waves, oblique/plane, for the aircraft design speed to compress and slow the air to subsonic speed before it reaches the engine. -
Airbus 380(Airbus)
It was invented in France.
It's the largest passenger jet ever built -- so huge that airports have to be redesigned to accommodate it. It can pack in more passengers and cargo than any other commercial airliner, yet its designers claim it will actually increase efficiency, use less fuel and generate less noise.
