This war was a waste of money and power, Russia tried to live its previous glory as one of the strongest countries. Everyone blamed the czar for getting them into that war that no one wanted to be in. -
Bloody Sunday
It was intended to be a peaceful march, but military officials didnt think so. The workers were marching, when they saw soldiers opened fire on the peaceful proterster. -
The Revolution of 1905
The things that happened to people on Bloody Sunday scared Russians. Riots and strikes went to all cities. Peasants looted and burned the homes of landowners. -
The March Revolution
Bread and Peace, the thing that all the protesters wanted and the thing they chanted. When soldiers were sent in they refused to fire and some even joined the protests. -
Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
Nicholas II is forced to abdicate the throne by the Petrograd insurgents, and a provincial government was now in his place.
