    First car in America
    The Ford Model T is an automobile that was produced by Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927.
    Deliverable: It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American; some of this was because of Ford's efficient fabrication, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting.
    It was the planned project because main target to reduce the price so middle-class can afford it.

    KFC
    Executed: Harland Sanders recipe was first franchised to Pete Harman in South Salt Lake, Utah in 1952.
    Project deliverable: After the foundation of KFC many more recipes were added to their menu like desserts, sandwiches and drinks that would complement its bestselling Fried Chicken recipe.
    Unique: The fried Chicken recipe by Harland Sanders was unique and incomparable because of the 11 herbs he used to make the fried chicken.
    Temporary: KFC was founded once and didn’t have to be found again.

    The Hoover Dam was built by a construction company called Six Companies Inc, which was actually a consortium of several companies who had pooled their resources to meet the steep $5 million bond.

    The Manhattan Project
    Originally the Uranium Committee, who started out the research on building nuclear weapons was executed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was Henry Truman, however, who executed the Manhattan project to actually build the bomb.
    Project deliverable: The purpose of the project was to build a nuclear bomb.
    Unique: It was the first time anyone had ever built a nuclear bomb.
    Temporary: It was also temporary in that once it had been done it was hoped that there would be no more wars.

    Disneyland
    Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring a consultant to help him determine an appropriate site for his project, Disney bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953.

    Ray Kroc saw an opportunity in the restaurant run by McDonald brothers. Therefore, he decided to build McDonald’s Corporation.
    Deliverable- Quality food and quick service.
    Unique: The restaurant run by Mc Donald’s brothers in California was unique as it produced a limited menu, concentrating on just a few items – burgers, fries and beverages – which allowed them to focus on quality and quick service.
    Temporary: McDonald’s Corporation was founded once and didn’t have to be found again.

    The Apollo Project - Landing a Man on the Moon
    Project Apollo's goals went beyond landing Americans on the moon and returning them safely to Earth. They included:
    Establishing the technology to meet other national interests in space.
    Planned: The US president had told the country that they would have a man on the moon within the next decade.
    Unique: No person had ever landed on the moon.
    Time-framed: it had a start date and a completion date.
    Defined deliverables: to put a person on the moon and ensure that the USA was ahead of Russia.

    Executed: Twin towers were designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki, and a total of 10,000 people worked on building the towers. Project deliverable: The north tower was opened in 1970 and the south tower in 1972. Both the towers were dedicated in April 1973. Project requirements: Unique: Twin towers when completed in the early 1970s, was unique as it the world's tallest buildings for a short time. Temporary: Twin towers were the world's tallest buildings only for a brief time period.

    Unique: Largest rock concert ever staged (at the time)
    Time-framed: It had a start date and a completion date August 15- 18 1969
    Defined deliverables: To raise money to build a recording studio for the artist that had started living in the area

    First Mobile Phone
    Cooper invented the first handheld cellular mobile phone in 1973 and led the team that developed it and brought it to market in 1983.He is considered the "father of the cell phone and is also cited as the first person in history to make a handheld cellular phone call in public.
    Deliverable- The first commercially available handheld mobile phone.
    Plan-They planned to develop it and brought it to the market after the 10 years of invention.
    Unique-Handheld mobile was the unique project.

    Foundation of Apple company
    Two Steves-Jobs and Wozniak-may have been Apple's most visible founders,but were it not for their friend Ronald Wayne there might be no iPhone, iPad or iMac today. Jobs convinced him to take 10% of the company stock and act as an arbiter should he and Woz come to blows, but Wayne backed out 12 days later, selling for just $500 a holding that would have been worth $72bn 40 years later.
    Designed a very inexpensive computer.
    Steve Jobs has a plan to produce low price personal computer.

    The Hubble Space Telescope was executed by NASA to take a photo of the universe
    Deliverable: Help mankind see much farther into the depths of space
    unique because it was the first large space telescope that had a number of interchangeable parts allowing it to use different wavelengths to see much deeper and farther into space than mankind has previously been able to
    temporary because it only had to be sent up once. It now remains in orbit taking photos and sending them back to earth

    Challenger Space Shuttle
    NASA had managed to obtain information on how to send people into orbit using a space shuttle and a relatively cheap space shuttle
    Deliverable-The Challenger gathered data for how to build a space shuttle and was then recycled into a space shuttle itself serving NASA for three hard working years
    Unique-It had gathered the data once for all time so that people now know how to build space shuttles and use them to send people into orbit
    Once it was built it didn’t have to be built again

     Los Angeles Olympics
    The Los Angeles games were to be the first privately funded Olympics, and Ueberroth made a point not to take charity. Venues were refurbished or repurposed – the Memorial Coliseum was the hub of activity, and the usual Olympic Village was spread across the university campuses scattered around Los Angeles. Anything that needed to be built was advertiser-funded.
