After World War One, the economy of America was booming. We see many products being built such as the first car, everyone is investing in the Stock market, & migration from the rural areas to the cities. -

It was a long series of drought in the West side of America. This was caused due to massive agricultural mistakes. Which also caused people to move out of their farms. -
Black Tuesday
On the 24th of October, many investors started to panic sell their shares of stock as prices started to drop. On the 29th, overall 16 million shares were sold that day. Soon this would lead to the Great Depression. -
Scottsboro Boys
The Scottsboro Boys were 9 African American children falsely accused of raping two white women. The unfair case was heard all around the world with a quick trial and giving the death penalties despite the lack of evidence. -
Attack on Pearl Harbor
On a Sunday morning, the Imperial Japanese Air service launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Which caused America to join World War Two. Before this America remained neutral and this force the country to join in. -
Atomic Bomb
President Truman decided to use an Atomic Bomb to force Japan to surrender. The bombing happened in Hiroshima & Nagasaki. The bomb lead to over 100,000 death and much more with the radiation behind. Ultimately after the two bombing Japan finally surrendered. -
D-Day
Operation Overload was an operation to attack the Nazi Germany in France. Over 156,000 Allied troops landed on the beach and captured all five major points which made it successful. This was an important Operation because this is one of the main turning points in West Europe. -
GI Bill
With World War Two coming to an end. President FDR, signed the GI Bill. This was an important bill that will help the veterans coming back home. It provided free education, gave unemployment benefits, & provided home loans. With all of this veterans can now go back home without having to worry about money and what not. -
Cold War
Between United States and the Soviet Union both countries was a war. Not your typically war but mainly a race. Both countries was trying to force their ideologies onto smaller countries. There was a race to space for example, the Vietnam War, & the Korean War which was affected both countries influence on who was right and who was wrong. -

President JFK was assassinated on November 22,1963 in broad daylight in Texas. He was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. -
