Reconstruction Era

1863

The Reconstruction Era was a time of racial bias because it was right after the Civil War. There was also a fight for power because everyone was debating who should have it and who should not. During this era, the Southern states were getting organized while trying to allow white and black people to coexist with each other with no slaves.
