Baby is first a blastocyst which is a ball on DNA. Then baby turns into an embryo. -

Second Month
Now the baby's heart is beating, his arms and legs are growing too. Nostrils, upper lip,nose, and fingers are now forming also. -

Fourth Month
At month four mom can feel baby move. The baby's nails have grown very fast and have established finger nails. The umbilical cord and placenta have finished growing which is very important to baby's growth. -

Baby's eye brows have grown and hearing is acute. -

Eyes are now open and baby can see light. Baby is also gaining a lot of weight because fat is forming. -

Baby is learning how to regulate his body temperature and is growing eyelashes. The sex of baby can now be determined because genitals are formed. -

Eighth Month
Baby has created a chemical called surfactant which helps him breath after birth. Baby's senses are forming and sleep schedule. -
Third Month
During the third month baby can practice breathing. Teeth have developed and so have the pancreas. -
Ninth Month
Baby is now ready for birth all organs are completely finished growing. Baby is now gaining a half a pound a week until birth.
