    The first Ferdinand Library opens its doors in 1966 in the former Ferdinand Kindergarten building, presently known as the Tretter Center.
  • 2nd Library is Dedicated

    2nd Library is Dedicated
    Ferdinand Library moves into a newer and bigger facility on 10th Street.
  • Ferdinand Library Joins County Library System

    The Ferdinand Library Joins other branches in the county to for the Dubois County Contractual Library System.
  • Library System's First Bookmobile.

    The Dubois County Library System introduces the first bookmobile which delivered books to all branches and other locations around the county.

    Construction begins on Ferdinand's new library.

    Construction of Ferdinand's newest library is completed. It woould open up to the public two months later.
