Infancy
Birth to two years old. During this time, the infant begins cognitive and motor skill development. They begin to walk, babble, and perceive more. They grow attachments with their parents and other loved ones, and more. -
Infancy
A time of vital importance. It's when the brain does most of it's development and rapid fire learning, as well as when the body grows the most(proportionally). At this time, people go through many stages of development in many ways; emotional, physical and cognitive. -

Childhood
Age two to ten. The stage of more complex development. Children talk, develop their first friendships, reinforce bonds and develop their motor skills to a much higher degree. -
Childhood
From 3-10, it's the time before puberty, before responsibility. A time of development and learning unlike any other, in which people learn to speak, gain the foundation of their personality and worldview, and more. -
Early Adolescence
11-13
The time when puberty first strikes, and children are faced with the brunt of their new physical development. -

Adolescence
There are three stages. 11-14(early) 14-17(middle) and 18-21(late) adolescence. At this time, a person experiences biological changes that develop them into an adult. This is a stressful time used to develop an identity. -
Puberty
The first major biological change in a person's life that they can fully remember and experience. Their body changes and develops as they become more adult-like. -
Middle Adolescence
A time of social development, in which people explore and discover who they are. They develop personal relationships with people other than their families, and forge their identity. -
Late Adolescence
A time of social transition. This time period marks the end of being a child, and the true beginning of becoming an adult. -
Early Adulthood
Independent at last! This is a time of growth and development for people, and the time when they become truly self sufficient. They start careers, partake in higher education, and start families. -
Reassessment
A time of adjustment to the adult world. This is when many begin their major career and make changes that will affect them forever, like starting a family. -

Young Adulthood
From a person's early twenty's to their early to mid thirties. This is a time of learning, social development, achieving one's identity, and more. People set up families by having children, begin and further their careers, gain hobbies, explore more adult roles and become fully independent. They often reassess their life and make severe changes towards the end of this stage. -

Middle Adulthood
From a person's mid to late thirties to their mid sixties, people go through what is called a midlife transition at this point. The most major of changes happen in this time. Divorces and remarrying, all of their kids leaving their house, their careers reaching their peek and more. Many adults develop a new identity, as well as go through hormonal changes similar to adolescence around the time of menopause, which is in a person's forties. -
Menopause
A time of change in an adults life. The term itself is mostly directed at women, as biologically it is the time when they go through a process similar to puberty, however some men go through a similar event. -
Middle Adulthood
A time of mastery, or chaos. At this time, people are furthering their careers, becoming respected members of society, and even the head of the family. They're where their parents used to be, and not all find this to be a good thing. -
Midlife Crisis
Something that most people go through. It's a time of chaos and change. Most people change something about their lives rather drastically at this time. -
Late Adulthood
The last leg. The final step. Etc. People become grandparents, retire, and start being at serious risk for elderly issues. At this time, they culminate their lives, and come to terms with their coming end. -

Late Adulthood
From a persons mid to late sixties until death, this is the final stage in a person's life before they pass away. The mind and body have stopped developing, and instead deteriorate. It is a time that challenges a person's views and many people handle it differently. At this time, they begin to be at risk for dementia, Alzheimer's, and more. Aging has caught up with them, and the world recognizes it. Their social standing becomes that of the elder. -
Death
The end of the road for all mortals.
