  • Parkes's speech

    Henry parks called to colonial governments to unite and decide on a government for all of Australia. Parkes made a speech to unite and become one colony. All of the premiers agreed and they made a conference in 1890.
  • Australian conference in Melbourne

    There was a conference in Melbourne. The colonial movements and the NZ government decide to celebrate Australia's growth in population. The colonial government also agreed to consider federal contusion.
  • First constitutional convention in sydney

    (The Date of this event is unknown)The constitution convention revised resolutions prepared by Henry Parks. The resolutions included proposals for the power of the colonies and intact the power to the federal government.
  • Federal Leagues formed

  • Australian federation league formed

    (the date is unknown)The Australian federation league decide to have a big federation meeting in Sydney town hall. They invited NSW, VIC and SA.

    The first women's organisation established to agitate for federation. This happened in the People's Federation Conference Bathurst. There was also a 1891 draft for the constitution.

    Elections for Convention delegates are to be either in Vic, NSW and Tas.

    Once again another league for federation has formed called the federal Association formed out of the Australian Federal League but is well known as the AFL

    A new federation league of southern Tasmania called the federalists has been formed.
