    This is important because fashion during this time was mostly pastels,light and airy type clothing's. very play full styles. wigs during this time were worn by men and women, it was essential part of there styling. If they wanted to have there natural hair they would cover it with white powder. to get the fashion look that they were trying to get.

    This time line was influenced by the classical Greece : such as high waisted gowns with long thin muslin skirts, heel-less sandals and long stoles. After 1810, skirts gradually became fuller and the hem with frills and ruches.

    Madeline Vionnet placed an emphasis on the cut of the grown rather than applied decoration. she is given credit for originating and mastering the bias cut, defining early 1930s fashions. The bias cut is a technique of cutting the garment to utilize the diagonal direction of the cloth which has a natural stretch and graceful drape.
