During the early 1900, 1890s fashion had continued through. The spectacle of an Edwardian lady stepping out of her horse and carriage was something to witness indeed. There is no doubt that the early 1900 lady had grace poise and self assurance. However, in early 1900, it was believed to be improper fashion for a woman to show her ankle. If she smoked in public, it was concluded that she must be an actress. If a woman wore trousers, that was going against her moral obligations. -
1900 Fashion
Fashion during the 1900-1909 period throughtout European and European-influenced countries, continued the long elegant lines of the 1890s. During this period tall,long stiff collors charictarized it. Also did, a hair style for woman known as "Gibson Girls" A new,columnar silhouette introduced by the couturiers of Paris late in the decade signaled the approaching abandonment of the corset as an indispensable garment of fashionable women. -
1980's fashion.
Through the 20th century there was a drastic change in fashion. The 1980s were a time when women wore short haircuts and layers of clothing, and men (at least entertainers) wore heavy makeup and grew their hair long. Men and women used clothing, hair and makeup to express their individuality and creativity. -
1980's womens fashion.
Women sometimes wore leg warmers with ruffled dresses and heels. Leg warmers normally covered the lower legs and could be made of cotton, knitted wool or synthetic fibers. Although leg warmers were commonly worn during exercising, they were also a common accessory for party outfits because they paired with color-coordinated ruffled dresses. They were usually brightly coloured. -
1990's fashion
Pop stars of the day who had once worn frilly mini skirts held up by suspenders, cutesy little fedoras and faces full of makeup were suddenly adopting newer, more simplistic looks. Being very much revealing for anybody who saw someone wearing this. -
