The unique invisible sandals nylon wires shoes were designed in 1947 and won The Fashion Award “Neiman Marcus Award” , the project completed at the same year. -
Stiletto heel
In 1954, the first stiletto heel was invented by Italian designer Roger Vivier for Christian Dior's fashion collections. He substituted the heel from wood to reinforced steel and called it the new slim heel. This was about three inches tall. The relationship was so successful that it lasted for three years. -
Men's High Heel Shoes
From 1970, men’s high heels had actually gained popularity with the mainstream long before John Travolta ever set a hustling foot on a lighted floor. This is definitely one of the most memorable trends of the decade. In fact, the heels of Tony Manero's boogie shoes were actually low compared to some of the men's styles that came earlier in the 1970s. Later in the decade, the project had been completed. -
Waffle Trainer
The founder of Nike Bill Bowerman was searching for a running shoe solution that would be suitable for multiple surfaces. In 1971, he experimented with a simple waffle iron, the grooves of which proved to be a near perfect mold for a running shoe. He poured rubber into his wife's waffle iron, creating the basis for the popular Nike Waffle Racer. Waffle Trainer successfully marketed and released in 1973. -
Timberland Yellow Boot
When Sidney Swartz introduced The Original Yellow Boot™ to the world in 1973, he hadn’t set out to create a new sensation – it just happened that way. That waterproof Original Yellow Boot™ was created for hard-working New Englanders, built from 39 components constructed via 80 separate steps, driven by form, function and craftsmanship. It was designed and built to cope with the hard, wet, snowbound winters. This design project had been finished at the same year. -
New Balance Shoes
New balance the first iteration of the 990 hit shelves in 1982. Releasing as one of the most expensive shoes—not just for New Balance—but for the wider footwear market, the 990 was poised to make a statement well before anyone laced it up and hit the sidewalk. As a sneaker that, as New Balance described, combined “stability, cushioning and flexibility, all in one shoe,” the 990 was built unlike any other sneaker before it. The project had been completed around 1987. -
Air Jordan VI
The Air Jordan VI had a new design by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1991. Later that year the Bulls defeated the Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals, with Jordan (wearing the Black/Infrared) named as the most valuable player. That was also the first NBA Championship won by Jordan and the Bulls. The Jordan VI was also seen in the film White Men Can't Jump. The project finished at the end of 1991. -
Flex Fit System shoes
This system was designed in 2005 by Angela and Brian Edgeworth. With the Flex Fit System™, each pair of pediped® Flex® closed-toe shoes comes with an additional 2 millimetres insole to customize the fit of the shoe so it is just right for each child. These insoles can reduce a shoe size by almost half a size. The project ended at the end of 2005. -

In 2013, Adidas released boost system. Boost has a more flexible, more lightweight, more powerful and more durable characteristics, and these features in the relevant products after the launch, has also been a real test. -
Jimmy Choo customize shoes
The luxury-footwear brand Jimmy Choo designed a collection of customized shoes in 2014. The customer can DIY their own high heels by choosing the style, heel height, fabric and colour. They offer made-to-order service directly to customers. It allows every woman to have a unique pair of shoes. The project accomplished at the end of 2014. -
Flyknit
In 2014, Nike designed Flyknit which is a root line that cannot be an ordinary line. Nike also made it clear that Flyknit's line is polyester yarn. The so-called polyester yarn is made of polyester linear material.
The advantages of polyester is obvious, flexible, very wear-resistant, but also very strong. The disadvantage is poor ventilation. The project finished at the end of this year. -
HyperAdapt
2016 Nike released HyperAdapt 1.0, the world's first automatic lace shoes.When you wear this pair of shoes, automatically detect the signal to the core part of the motor, the motor and then tighten the shoelaces, to achieve the effect of automatic lace. The project completed in the same year.
