Fall of Saigon
After Saigon was totally destroyed by North Vietnam armies, the leader of South Vietnam who has been in office for only three days surrendered the South to it's northern counterpart. This marked the end of the Vietnam war and the beginning of the Communist oppression in Vietnam (united Vietnam).
