    Although Fabio pays close attention to sentence structure when interpreting new words, he still overgeneralizes about one in every three words that he learns. Exhibiting categorical overextension, he uses "truck" for everything that has wheels, including cars, buses, and bicycles. He also uses relational over-extension for words that are thematically related. For instance, he knows he eats with a fork, which is also what he calls spoons, plates, and the silverware drawer.
