One of Prince Henry’s last voyage sailed over 1,500 miles! From 1444-1446, their was a lot of exepidtions and voyages in that time frame. One of the voyages in 1446, traveled more than 1,500 miles down Africa's coast. -

Prince Henry sent the Venetian on two expeditions. Although most explorers sailed the expeditions, Henry the Navigator did not sail along with the expeditions. prince Henry had sailors look over the ships. -

Henry lived for 66 years. On 1460 Henry the Navigator passed away. Prince Henry was very well respected, he was a prince. He discovered navigation./ he not only discovered navigation, he taught people the use of navigation.
