    Henry The Navagator Conqueres Ceuta

    In 1415, when Henry the Navigator was 21, he and his brothers led the attack on Ceuta. Ceuta is a Muslim port city in Africa. The brothers attacked the city to gain glory to defeating the Muslim city. This not an exploration, it is just a quick attack.

    Henry Started Navigation school

    In 1418 Henry started the first oceanic navigation school. In this school, people were trained in navigation, map making, and science, in order to sail down the west of Africa. He never went on the explorations, but he started navigation school, so his explores could go to the areas he wanted to them to explore.

    The rich spices in the indies.

    He wanted to find a trade route to the rich and good spices in the Indies, also for his explorers to search the coast of Africa.
