On June 7th 1494 the Treaty was signed. It stated that Spain had the everything to the West and Spain had everything to the East. -

In June of 1497 Da Gama reached India. He rounded the cape of good hope and anchored in Malindi. -

In 1522 Magellan's crew finally made it around the world. Sadly they had to leave him in the Philippines after he died at the hands of a native in the area. -

On September 3rd 1609 Henry Hudson sailed up the Hudson river. Strong headwinds forced them to cancel their Northeast voyage they were asigned.
