    In 1492 Columbus lands in the Bahamas. He was a skillled Italian seqafarer who persuaded that Spanish monarch to provide him with the materials that he neeed to head Westwar. Columbus's expedition is considered to be one of the most sucessful failures in history. His whole expedition led to the discovery of four new continents Europe, Africa, and the two Americas.
