So far me and the crew have packed wine, olive oil, sea biscuit, and salted meat.

Disaster with clothes.
When my crew sigened up they were required to bring there own outfit because I did not have a special uniform for them. Most of the sailors wore calf length pants, a shirt, and maybe a jacket. We also had two disguising pieces of clothing that us Spanish sailors wore were a hooded smock and a “gorro”-a red, woolen stocking-hat. But now we have to clean are clothes with the sea water, the good thing was it cleaned the durt. -

Eroupe to the Bahamas
The ships reach the Canaries under favorable conditions.
The Santa María, Niña, and Piñta were all built with a small cabin called a “toldilla” on the stern deck for the captain and other officers; this is where Columbus spent most of his time. The crew, on the other hand, had to sleep anywhere they could find that was dry and out of the sun. Many would sleep in the forecastle. Since the ships only had one deck, the hold below would be full of supplies they would spend a lot of time bleow deck. -
