Introduction
It is important to study history to understand changes. I choose this topic for timeline because we should know how in the present we use money as a resource of exchange and how it evolute from past till present. First, What is money? By definition, its something of value or widely accepted medium of exchange. But, over the last 10,000 years, the material from the money has taken changed considerably from cattle and cowrie shells to today's electronic currency. -

In the Beginning: Barter
Barter is the exchange of resource or services for mutual advantage, and the practice likely dates back tens of thousands of years. Some would even argue that It's not purely a human activity; plants and animals have been bartering in symbiotic relationships. -
1200 BCE
Cowrie Shells
Historically many societies have been used cowries, the shell of mollusk as money, and even as recently as middle of this century cowries have been used in some parts of Africa. -

First Metal Money and Coins
Bronze and copper cowrie imitations were manufactured by China and could be considered some of the earliest forms of metal coins .These early metal coins developed into primitive versions of round coins. -

Cattle which throughout history and across the globe have included not only cows but also sheeps ,camels , and other livestock are the first and oldest form of money -

Outside of China,the first coins were developed out of lumps of silver. They soon took the familier round form of today, and were stamped with various emperors to mark their authenticity. -

Leather money was used in China in the form of foot-squarepieces with colorful borders. This could be considered the first documented type of banknote. -

On 118 A.D, the first known banknotes appeared in China. Then, it appear in Europe and three centuries before i was considered common. -

On 1500 A.D,Potlach use as a resource of exchange . it is a ceremony ,where not only gifts were exchanged, but dances feasts were performed. -

Wampum
On 1535 A.D, Wampum , which are strings of beads made from clam shell were used as a resource of exchange. -
The Gold Standard
On 1816 A.D, At this time in England guidelines were made to allow for a non-inflationary production of standard banknotes which represented a certain amount of gold. These banknotes were used in England and Europe for several hundred years. -
The Present
Today, currency continues to change and develop. -
The Future: Electronic Money
Digital cash in the form of bits and bytes will most likely continue to be the currency of the future . In the end, in my opinion, if we are rich or belong to middle class family we should spent some amount from our money on poor peoples to fulfil their needs.
